In the Bavarian village of Frauenau which is in the heart of the old glass making area of Germany, there is a myth that God showed the glass workers how to shape the hot glass on the end of their blowing pipes (1000°C) with their bare hands.
Once upon a time there was a little boy who used to sneak downstairs in the middle of the night. Many times he watched the late night horror movie on TV.
In September of 2010 I exhibited in Illumini's Secret Subterranean London show, this installation featured the ghost guitars I cast in glass. Set as a 1960s backstage gig dressing room in the Camden Roundhouse, London. The show was in the basement of Shoreditch Town Hall.
